Me había dicho Estanislao Urdanpilleta que hay que sembrar el lino cuando la luna está en menguante… Bueno, como el día 7 de abril cuando tenemos previsto sembrar otro bancal en Intxaurrondo con los niños no nos toca la luna menguante, aproveché del tiempo bueno el pasado viernes. Afortunadamente, los del proyecto Uliako Lore Baratzak me hayan dejado un bancal en los antiguos viveros de Ulía para lino y plantas tinctóreas.
Estanislao Urdanpilleta told me that you have to sow flax when the moon is decreasing… Well, since on April 7th we will not have that situation when we are going to sow another flowerbed with the children in Intxaurrondo, I took advantage of the good weather last Friday. Fortunately, the people of the project Uliako Lore-Baratzak gave me permission to plant flax and plants for dying in one of the flowerbeds.
En la primera foto se ve que una parte del bancal todavía está a la sombra al mediodía. Por eso decidí preparar un tocito más pequeño al otro lado de las plantas tinctórias, en este caso las Tanacetum vulgare.

La linaza estaba en sus cápsulas todavía: tuve que aplastar las cápsulas y soplar sobre las semillas para que los restos se separaran de ellas. Me pregunto, por qué no se puede sembrar la linaza con las cápsulas… Si alguien sabe algo sobre esto, cualquier comentario es buenvenido.
The flax seed were still in their capsules: I had to crush the little capsules by hand and blow slightly over the seeds to separate the chaff from the seeds. I asked myself why you cannot sow the seeds while still in their capsules… If anybody knows anything about this, I appreciate any comment.
